RESIDENCY PROGRAMS
Drawing on extensive experience, Casa Lü Parque’s residency programs provide a carefully structured environment where artists can focus on their practice, supported by key resources and assistance. Casa Lü Parque offers two residency programs:
Exploratory Residency Program
Designed for artists with intermediate to advanced experience, this program fosters experimentation and collaboration, offering a supportive environment where artists can explore new techniques, push boundaries, and discover new forms of expression. Residents are encouraged to grow and innovate with the guidance of knowledgeable hosts and through active engagement with the vibrant local art scene.
Foundational Residency Program
Tailored for new artists or those transitioning into the visual arts, this program provides additional support through expert-led workshops on portfolio development, artist statements, bios, and an introduction to the Mexican contemporary art scene. With a balance of structured activities and independent exploration, the program nurtures creative growth while guiding participants through the professional aspects of their practice.
Both of Casa Lü Parque's programs offer the following benefits:
-
Private accommodations with ensuite bathrooms
-
Ongoing logistical and technical support from Casa Lü’s dedicated staff, ensuring the success of projects
-
Regular meetings with both the Casa Lü team and fellow residents
-
Curated excursions to relevant cultural sites
-
Constructive feedback sessions with Casa Lü hosts, along with studio visits and insights from invited members of Mexico City's art community
-
A group exhibition at the end of the residency
